HOW Jada's Ethnic Angels GOT STARTED
My Story
My name is Jada, and I am the artisan who creates every Ethnic Angel. I started making Ethnic Angels over 25 years ago, because everywhere I searched, and believe me, I searched, I could never find an Angel of color to hang on my Christmas Tree. One day, I decided to start creating my own Ethnic Angels. I wasn't sure what materials I would use, so I just started experimenting with everything from cardboard to pine cones. Here's a peek at some of my earlier creations.
My Journey
Over 25 years later, my Ethnic Angels continue to grow, transform, and amaze me. Each one is taking on a personality of their very own.
Crafting Setbacks
During the course of the past 25 years, like many businesses, I had my share of challenges. For one, my materials were drying up. I couldn't find the doll hair I needed. So here is where I had to think outside the proverbial box and figure it out.
My Community & Customers
I have been abundantly blessed with a family and friends who have supported my Ethnic Angel endeavor since its inception. I have had the pleasure of meeting incredible customers at various vendor venues who expressed to me their love and appreciation of my Ethnic Angels
My Inspiration
My inspiration comes from a place where I know each Ethnic Angel will take on a life of its own. By that I mean, no Ethnic Angel that I create is the same. Each one is uniquely different. I am never sure what the end product will look like exactly.
